Call for Papers:

Submissions must be postmarked or emailed by Friday, October 7, 2011.

Submit papers of approximately 10-15 pages in any area of philosophy or religious studies.

Include cover sheet with name, institution, title of paper, address, email, and telephone number.

Include papers in hard or emailed copy without personal information but with paper’s title on the front.

If accepted, authors will provide a 100-word abstract by email.

Presentations should be approximately 30 minutes, including time for questions.

CFP: Ephemeris

Ephemeris is an undergraduate journal of philosophy that is student-run and dedicated to publishing exceptional undergraduate writing grounded in the distinct value and interest of the philosophical endeavor.

Contributions: Contributions are solicited in all areas of the philosophical discipline. Contributions should take the form of essay, article, or short note. Review articles are welcome. Please include a short abstract describing the thesis of the paper and main conclusions. Generally the length should be no greater than 25 pages.

Format: All work must be submitted as electronic copy in standard Word (doc or docx), OpenOffice or RTF format. Do not submit PDFs. Please use footnotes, not endnotes. Suitable stylistic guides are the MLA standard or the Chicago Manual. Simultaneous submission is acceptable on the conditions of notification at the time of submission and immediate notification if the paper is accepted elsewhere.
